Puzzles

Calleigh loves doing puzzles.  We have been doing them for a while now, she is always so proud of her accomplishments when she finishes one all by herself.  While at Wal-Mart last week, we found a giant foam floor puzzle.  She loves to take it apart and put it together.  We have been playing different games with this giant puzzle.  The one game she loves is taking all the "insides" of the puzzle out and finding the match.  Another game we play is jumping to the letter I call out.  She loves to show off her jumping skills along with her knowledge of the alphabet.  I am amazed at how well she knows all her letters, I guess that is the teacher in my, making sure she has the best start EVER...

Happy Memorial Day

Today we spent the day over at my parents house.  We had a relaxing day, my in laws came over along with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law with their little guy.  We had a small little cook out, brats and ribs.  It was delicious.  Calleigh played with her cousin Austin, digging in the sandbox and swimming.  We had a great day, the temperature was very pleasant outside, I guess if you have misters and a fan on you then its perfect.

So I haven't written a blog since Aidan has been born.  Talk about not being very good about writing.  However, I want to do another post every day for a month again.  I did it last year, and it was very overwhelming, but I really loved going back and reading about what happened during that month.

Anyways, lots has happened since my last post about Aidan being born, goodness me.

First, we took a trip to Vancouver in April so that everyone could meet Aidan, as well as, attend Sierra's (Aidan's godmother) graduation party.  The whole family came this time.  It was a new experience as Calleigh is now old enough to sit in her own seat, and well we had Aidan.  All went well, Calleigh was so good, considering we got up at 3:30am to catch our 6:30am flight.  And Aidan well he was perfect, slept for most of the flight and played the rest of the way.  We were very proud parents with both our kids.  We got many compliments about our kids and how well behaved they were.

Soon after getting back Aidan started sitting all by himself, which he thought was kind of cool.  He loves to be around the dog and pull on the dogs tail.  Poor Cash:( Just recently he has started scooting on him tummy.  He gets around pretty well, and fast too.

Calleigh has turned into one big girl, she is now completely potty trained.  It really only took a good week of hard core sitting on the potty every 15 minutes and she is done so well.  She doesn't even wear a pull up or anything at night either.  It is fantastic, we are so proud of her.  I am truly amazed at how well she has done, with no accidents at all.

Well anyways, I was finding the need to do a little update on our blog, so stay tuned for some more from us, as we will be posting something on a daily basis, hopefully......
